Varsity Golf Finishes Tied for 3rd at PTAC Match #4

PTAC Conference Match #4 was contested Monday afternoon at the always challenging HPCC-Willow Creek course. The difficult front nine at Willow Creek seldom yields good scores, but on this day Freddy Ortmann was up for the challenge and his golf game was clicking, especially the putter.  Freddy recorded a stellar round of three under par, 33 which was three shots ahead of the next best competitor and easily good for the match medalist honors.  Caldwell's third place team finish was also powered by rounds of 40 by Daniel Norris, and a 41 from Zach Kupiec.  The fourth counting score for the Eagles team score was a 44, which was carded by both Grayson Smith and Matthew Lapeirre.
